1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how SubscribeAI LLC (“SubscribeAI LLC”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a Wyoming limited liability company, collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit getsubscribeai.com (the “Site”) or use SubscribeAI (together with the Site, the “Service”). SubscribeAI LLC is the data controller for the personal information described here.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your email address when you join the waitlist or contact us, and, once you create an account, your name, account credentials, learning goals, language preferences and the messages and answers you submit while using the Service.
- Payment information: paid subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number; we receive limited details such as the card brand, last four digits, billing country and subscription status.
- Usage information: basic technical data such as device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, pages visited and in-app activity needed to operate, secure and improve the Service.
3. How we use information
- To provide the Service, including diagnostics, personalized study plans, tutoring conversations, progress tracking and reports.
- To manage accounts, subscriptions and billing.
- To communicate with you about early access, your account, service updates and support requests.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.
- To understand how the Service is used so we can improve it, using aggregated or de-identified data where possible.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Legal bases (EEA, UK and similar jurisdictions)
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process personal information to perform our contract with you, based on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where required (for example, for optional marketing emails). You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions. These include cloud hosting and storage providers, our payment processor (Stripe), email delivery providers, and AI model providers that process tutoring conversations to generate responses. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition, in which case we will notify you.
6. International data transfers
SubscribeAI LLC is based in the United States and our providers may process data in other countries. When we transfer personal information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Waitlist emails are kept until launch or until you ask us to remove them. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep certain records (such as billing records) to meet legal obligations.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls and least-privilege access for staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where required by law.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. 10. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. Children under 13 may use the Service only through an account created and managed by a parent or guardian, who provides consent on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us information without consent, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Cookies and local storage
The Site does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We store your language preference in your browser’s local storage so the Site is shown in your chosen language. The Service may use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. The effective date above shows when this policy was last updated.
